Answer:
A dialogue between two friends on massive food adulteration is written below.
Nishat: Hello Auntika! How’re you?
Auntika: I’m fine. What about you?
Nishat: I’m fine too. Have you seen the recent raid of mobile courts on food production houses?
Auntika: Yes, I think the mobile court is doing the right task to stop food adulteration.
Nishat: Exactly! The adulteration of food is increasing beyond any limit. They’re using chemicals to preserve food.
Auntika: Yes, and these chemicals are mainly used for industrial purposes. These chemicals can cause kidney damage, heart failure and various other diseases.
Nishat: Yes, and it seems to me that the unscrupulous traders of our country don't care even to kill innocent people to earn extra profit.
Auntika: You’re right. However, this is not the only case of food adulteration of adult people. They are also mixing chemicals with baby foods.
Nishat: Oh, my God! I see the situation is very terrible! They have become so heartless that they don't even care about babies.
Auntika: Yes, they’re really heartless. Nowadays fishes are adulterated with formalin, fruits are adulterated with carbide and edible oils are adulterated with cyanide.
Nishat: But why these traders are adopting such malpractices in spite of knowing the worst consequences of massive food adulteration?
Auntika: It’s very simple. They are dishonest and they can do everything for money.
Nishat: They’re very nasty and they have no moral character. They’re enemies to humanity. However, this crime must be stopped at any cost.
Auntika: You are absolutely right. In this case consciousness of the people should be increased because public awareness is very important.
Nishat: Certainly! Besides, the government administration should take stern steps to stop food adulteration. The criminals have to be punished by law. Thank you.
Auntika: Absolutely! You’re most welcome. See you again.

A dialogue between two friends on effects of deforestation is written below.
Robin: Hello Tanha! How’re you?
Tanha: I’m fine and you?
Robin: I’m fine too. But I can't understand one thing that is much talked all around and this is deforestation.
Tanha: Oh, I see. Actually deforestation is the indiscriminate cutting down of trees which means destruction of trees, woods, and forests.
Robin: It’s okay. But there are a lot of trees around us. I can't understand why trees are so important in our life?
Tanha: Trees are very important to us. They give us shade and shelter. They cause rainfall and help agriculture. They prevent soil erosion and flood. Most importantly, trees give us oxygen to breathe and take in carbon-di-oxide which is harmful to life.
Robin: Oh, I see. But what’s the problem if people cut trees and make good by planting more trees?
Tanha: The problem is that people cut trees but do not plant trees accordingly. As a result, we are losing trees in large scale and deforestation is taking place gradually.
Robin: I can understand. But what is the effect of deforestation?
Tanha: The effects of deforestation are too many to describe. It disturbs our ecological balance, rises temperature, and causes greenhouse effect.
Robin: I see the consequences of deforestation is tremendous. How can we get rid of this disaster?
Tanha: Only planting of trees more and more can save us from this kind of disaster. We should make the people conscious of the importance of trees.
Robin: I see if trees and plants do not exist in sufficient number, we will face a lot of problems.
Tanha Yes, if we destroy trees at random, one day the country will turn into a great desert.
Robin: Now the bad effects of deforestation have become clear to me. Thank you.
Tanha: You’re most welcome. See you again.

Siam: I’m fine and you?
Fardin: I’m also fine. I came to learn that you have opened a facebook account. Is it true?
Siam: Yes, it’s true. Recently I’ve opened a facebook account.

Siam: The present age is an age of globalization. It’s Internet which has made the world a global village. So, I think I should have a facebook account.
Fardin: It’s okay if your aim is positive and fair.
Siam: Of course, my aim is positive and fair. Facebook is the most popular social networking site that helps us to connect our relatives and friends living different parts in the world.

Siam: Strange indeed! What’s the problem if I connect unknown people?

Paragraphs: Gender Discrimination, Price Hike/ Price Spiral, Early Marriage in Bangladesh/ Premature Marriage in Bangladesh

Gender Discrimination
Gender discrimination means the discriminatory distribution of rights between male and female on the basis of gender identity. Unfortunately, the female children are the worst victim of gender discrimination which begins at their birth. Girls, women and destitute old ladies are also the worst sufferers of it. There are many causes behind this gender discrimination. Among them social prejudices, customs, and our male-domination trend are mainly responsible for this. Religious misinterpretation also contributes much to the degradation of women status. In the existing socio-economic set up, most parents want to have male children so that they can supplement their family income and help with the domestic chores when they grow older. So, parents take more care in all respects for their male children. If any parents have no son, they become frustrated thinking that they have none to look after at their old age. On the other hand, parents consider female child as a burden to them. Our male-dominated society also thinks that girls are born only to become the wife of a husband and the mother of some children. So, female children are actually born in an unwelcome world. However, this gender discrimination is very harmful for female members of our society as it causes their health hazards, mental distress, and in some cases it causes their death. As they are deprived of proper health care and nutrition, they become easily vulnerable to various diseases. To resolve this problem, we must change our outlook. We should understand that women cover about half of the total population. If we do not treat women equally, our society will be deprived from the service of the half of the total population. It will hinder our overall progress. So, we should treat male and female children equally. Only then this problem can be solved and we can come out from the curse of gender discrimination.
Price Hike/ Price Spiral
Price hike means an unusual increase in the prices of necessary things. It is a common experience in our country. The prices of necessary things are increasing by leaps and bounds. Prices rise all the time and seldom come down. It becomes difficult on the part of common people to maintain their daily expenditures. Our expenditures are increasing day by day, but our income is not increasing at the same time. There are various reasons for price hike: natural and artificial. We have a huge and ever-growing population. Our demand is always greater than our supply. This excessive demand leads to natural price hike. On the other hand, there are some dishonest people who always want to make money very quickly. They hoard goods and create artificial scarcity of goods in the market. The black marketers, smugglers also contribute to price hike. In our country, the middlemen between the producer and the customer take the lion's share of profit. The extortionists and the political parties collect money from businessmen and these aggravate the problem. Besides, money inflation, dishonest business, natural calamity, political unrest, excessive greed for money, lack of consciousness, corruption etc are also responsible for price hike. The govt. has a responsibility to check corrupt practices. Since price hike creates problems to most of the people, it should be controlled for the welfare of the common people. We must try to boycott a commodity that shows unnatural price rise.
Early Marriage in Bangladesh/ Premature Marriage in Bangladesh
Premature marriage is a very common feature in a poor country like Bangladesh. It means the marriage of the boys and girls before attaining their physical and mental maturity. In our country girls particularly poor rural girls are the victims of premature marriage. Unfortunately, the birth of girls is considered unwelcome in our country. They are neglected from their birth. They have to live in a male dominated society. As a result, they are the victims of gender discrimination. They have no 'say' in the family decision. Many parents try to find a husband for their daughters before they attain the age of maturity. We find that illiteracy, poverty, selfish attitude, unconsciousness, religious misinterpretation, dowry system, etc. are some of the causes of premature marriage. The effects of premature marriage are, no doubt, harmful for health and mind of a female child. The girls cannot adjust with the new environment of their in-law's house. They cannot serve their husbands' families properly. As a result, it leads to family conflict and misunderstanding. Sometimes, premature marriage leads to divorce, suicide, and unnatural death. Some effective steps should be taken to stop premature marriage. The govt. has already made a law against it. Early marriage is a punishable offense. According to the law, a girl before eighteen and a boy before twenty one cannot marry. To prevent the premature marriage, the conscious people should come forward. The parents should be made aware of the bad effects of premature marriage. Different mass media can play an important role in solving the problem. Only then we can get rid of the curse of premature marriage.
